Terms of Service
Effective August 12, 2026
Using PatchQR
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and use PatchQR only for lawful content. You may not use redirects for phishing, malware, deception, abuse, or infringement.
Plans and billing
The Free plan includes three editable website codes and unlimited static codes. Pro and Business subscriptions renew monthly through Stripe until canceled. Applicable taxes may be added. Paid access continues through the current billing period after cancellation.
Downgrades and printed codes
When an account moves to a plan with a lower editable-code allowance, existing codes continue redirecting to their last saved destinations. The oldest codes within the new allowance remain editable. Codes above that allowance are locked against destination changes until enough unused editable codes are permanently deleted or the account upgrades. Locked codes can still be renamed, restyled, downloaded, paused, archived, or deleted.
Scans and analytics
PatchQR does not impose a scan-count limit on active editable codes. Scan totals and daily activity are provided as operational analytics and may be subject to retention, aggregation, abuse prevention, and reasonable technical limits.
QR availability
Static QR codes contain their destination directly and do not depend on PatchQR after download. Editable QR codes require the PatchQR redirect service. We monitor the service and work to keep it available, but do not currently promise uninterrupted operation or a contractual service-level agreement.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us permission to process it only as needed to provide and secure the service.
Termination and liability
We may suspend harmful or unlawful use. To the extent permitted by law, PatchQR is provided without implied warranties and our aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid for the service in the prior three months.
